To adjust pattern search to identify non-black pixels, do the following:

• Click on Settings/User Preferences (Ribbon Bar) or Admin/User Preferences (Classic Toolbar)
• Click on the “Convert” tab
• Under “Conversion to black & white for Pattern Search”, move the slider to the right to find the non-black pixel patterns
