If your computer is on a network that has a firewall and you receive the error message when opening Dimension, "Can not contact eTakeoff Server", below are a few options to resolve the issue.
NOTE: Access is needed for inbound and outbound.
2. If you are unable to open the above URL on your network's firewall, follow the instructions below.
A. Dimension users need to download the firewall helper file, "eTkoFWH.zip", (attached) and extract the contents to the the Dimension Installation folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\eTakeoff\RView folder).
B. Configure Internet Explorer with your network's Proxy Server Settings.
If you do not know your Proxy Server Settings, please consult your IT department.
* Make sure you close Dimension and/or Bridge then restart it after following the above procedures.
