To Print a Dimension plan with takeoff to a PDF file, you need to install a PDF Writer as a virtual printer on your system. Click on the link below for the PDFill Free PDF & Image Writer.

Once you have installed the PDFill Writer, open Dimension with the plan you want to email. Click on File/Print/Print Current Drawing (Ribbon Bar) or File/Print (Classic Toolbar) and click on the Browse button to select the “PDFill PDF & Image Writer” Printer. It will ask you for the name and location for the pdf file.
